Tentang Imei Nokia
IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity/ Identitas Internasional Peralatan Bergerak) pada dasarnya adalah sebuah nama atau identitas dari sebuah ponsel. Jadi sebenernya IMEI dari pihak vendor tidak akan ada yang sama untuk semua ponsel yg dikeluarkan.
Untuk tipe ponsel DCT4 security IMEI mulai diperketat dari sebelumnya yaitu DCT3. Dalam ponsel DCT4 Imei di letakan di 2 tempat
1. di UEM (disebut data 2) bersifat OTP (One Timing Programable) hanya bisa di program/ditulis sekali.
2. di IC flash (disebut data 1) bersifat Programable kerusakan pada salah satu area dari imei tsb dapat menyebabkan ponsel tidak dapat berfungsi dengan sempurna.
Contoh kerusakan imei :
* Imei jadi ??????????????? ? (Imei tanda tanya)
* Sim Not Valid
* Contact Service
* Watchdog (mati dalam 32 detik)
* mungkin masih ada kerusakan yg lain
Untuk memperbaiki Imei kita harus mengetahui dengan pasti kerusakan itu ada di bagian mana di DATA 1 atau DATA 2 (UEM atau Flash). Jika anda pengguna MX key bisa dengan mudah mengetahui nya melalui tombol "Buscheck". Untuk kerusakan Imei di area DATA 1 (Flash) kita bisa melakukan perbaikan dengan cara kalkulasi Ask to RPL yang intinya adalah kita membeli imei dari sebuah server yg menjual data Imei itu sendiri (sudah banyak dipasaran dengan harga yg cukup terjangkau).
Pada prinsip nya kerja dari Ask to RPL adalah mengambil data contoh Imei yg berasal dari data UEM untuk dibuatkan data yang match ke Flash atau jika kita melakukan secara manual kita tinggal mengisi angka digit dari Imei yang kita inginkan, dan server akan melakukan kalkulasi untuk data RPL yg bisa dimasukan ke UEM dan Flash sesuai dengan Imei yang anda isikan.
Untuk kerusakan di area DATA 2 (UEM) jika data di Imei di area ini mengalami kerusakan kita tidak bisa melakukan Ask to RPL dikarenak dari sifat data 2 itu sendiri yaitu OTP artinya hanya bisa ditulis sekali saja. Artinya jika kita mengalami kerusakan ini berarti anda harus mengganti IC UEM itu sendiri dengan yang baru kemudian di isi dengan Imei yang kita kalkulasikan dengan cara manual (mengisi digit Imei secara langsung.
Apa itu file ASK ? file ASK yg bisa di artikan dengan bertanya/meminta adalah ekstension file hasil dari pembacaan Imei yg ada di dalam UEM kemudian kita kirimkan ke server dan mereka akan mengirimkan data hasil yang disebut sebagai RPL merupakan ekstentsion file balasan dari server yang nantinya akan kita isikan ke dalam ponsel (RPL=reply/balasan).

HP Nokia Terbaru, Telepon genggam terbaru ini juga telah ditingkatkan kemampuan antar muka layar sentuhnya. Layar sentuh ini itu menghadirkan pergerakan yang halus dan waktu reaksi yang cepat.
Kelebihan lain dari telepon ini adalah chipset ARM Cortex A-8, dan kamera beresolusi 5 megapixel dengan lensa milik Carl Zeiss. Sementara dukungan terhadap jaringan HSDPA, GPS dan media penyimpanan internal sebesar 32 Gb.
Belum jelas kapan Nokia mengumumkan waktu peluncuran N900 ini. Tapi diperkirakan akan menggunakan cara yang sama seperti saat N97, yang menggebrak pasar beberapa bulan yang lalu.
Sebagai salah satu 10 telepon genggam di dunia, N97 adalah perangkat utama dari pabrikan asal Finlandia ini untuk tahun 2009 dan disebut sebagai salah satu telepon seri N terbaik yang pernah dibuat.
